Special Guests Gather for America’s Service of Remembrance for Winston Churchill

The National Churchill Museum on the campus of Westminster College hosted America’s Service of Remembrance on Saturday, January 24, 2015. The service recognized the 50th anniversary of Churchill’s death and was attended by many Westminster students and faculty as well as special guest such as Churchill’s granddaughter Edwina Sandys, Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon, and the British Ambassador to the United States Sir Peter Westmacott. The service was based on the 1965 service held at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, England.
