High School Students Attend the Westminster Institute for National Security
In the first ever Westminster Institute for National Security, 18 high school students from all over the U.S. came to Westminster to be immersed in issues of security study. Covering topics like terrorism, cybersecurity, post-war peace, and intelligence systems, students got a taste of how they could someday be a part of saving the world.
“I was not aware of many aspects of national security, and I felt I should educate myself on them. I really accomplished what I came here to do.” -Ethan Deimeke, Auxvasse, MO
“It was a very insightful experience. It also helped me define what career path I want to go into.” -Maryanne Korte, Steelville MO
